Now, we realize at this point everyone is probably nearly sick and tired of seeing "Year in Review" posts - but we are doing this one for us. Because for us 2014 was a very important year. It was our first year working professionally as a team, and we would be lying if we said we were not completely thrilled and surprised at how many amazing people and places we were lucky to photograph this past year.
In 2014 we took our cameras to some of the most wonderful places. From Barcelona, to Amsterdam, to San Sebastian, to Istanbul, to Lisbon, to countless wonderful locations between Toronto and Montreal - we had no idea what this year would show us as we hesitatingly crept into 2014 so many months ago. Or where our work would be shown in turn for that matter - holy canolies! We were not disappointed.
But none of this would have been the same without all the wonderful people we've had the immense pleasure of meeting and working with along the way. To those of you who chose us to be there on one of the most important, and intimate days of your life, we truly cannot express what an honour it is to be so warmly welcomed in to be a part of your weddings. To those of you who allowed us a glimpse of what it is that you share in your relationships, you've given us such joy to photograph all kinds of dynamics and expressions of love. To those of you who we simply came in contact with by chance, we also thank all of you for playing your own part in making us always feel welcome and supported. We have met some of the warmest, most wonderful people in this past year, and any successes we have had we have to attribute back to all the trust you all put in us.
We cannot say how 2015 will go, and if this past year has taught us anything, there is no point in even trying to guess. We will just keep to our philosophy: simply say yes to the opportunities that meet your hard work half way, and never stop being grateful.
Thank you for a wonderful first year as Isos Photography, and here's to many more years to come! Happy 2015!
