The lifestyle of the people we meet as wedding photographers are always fascinating, and unique. In this post we take you to Kingston, Ontario - a fantastic Canadian travel destination full of restaurants, great scenery and plenty of charm in the heart of the Thousand Islands. As Kingston was once the capital of Upper Canada, the former farm land around the Kingston area is perhaps some of Canada's oldest and most established. A mere fifteen minutes from the lovely city centre of you'll find yourself in a whole new world full of the beauty of eras past, while maintaining all the modern luxuries.
This house, an understated brick farm house from the road, holds inside a newly renovated home full of whimsy and warmth. With a bit of updating and remodelling of the necessary rooms, replacing of windows, new dry wall, and lots of love with all those fresh coats of paint, this formerly dark and draughty farm house has become a cozy haven for all who enter. The property surrounding the home is equally as full of charm and magic that simply is not available to city dwellers. From the neighbour's friendly horses, to the grand old barn, and gardens full of food and flowers, one might be tempted to just stay for days and just be with nature and history.
We were jealous of the inhabitants, and we hope these photo explain why!
